Every listed price is a base price for a normally soiled small or medium vehicle. Larger vehicles cost more because they require additional time, products and working area. The confirmed quote may also increase for heavy mud, sand, pet hair, staining, mould or unusually time-consuming work.

The price is confirmed before the appointment after reviewing your vehicle size, condition and photos. Larger cars, SUVs, seven-seaters and vans will cost more than the displayed small/medium-car base price. Nothing extra is added without discussing it with you first.

This service is not only for businesses. Discounted multi-vehicle pricing may also be available for families, shared households, couples with several cars, collectors, tradespeople and small company fleets. Multi-vehicle pricing is available when three or more vehicles are booked at the same address or location.
One-off group bookings and recurring maintenance schedules can both be arranged. The best rates apply to regularly maintained vehicles following an initial clean. Final pricing depends on the number of vehicles, their size and condition, the service required and how often they are cleaned.

You do not need professional pictures and you do not need to clean the vehicle first. Clear, honest photos help us recommend the correct service, allow enough time and confirm the price before booking.
Outside of the vehicle

Dashboard and front seats
Open a front door and photograph the dashboard, seats, footwells and centre console together.
Rear seats and floors
Show the rear seats, mats and footwells, especially where there is mud, sand, pet hair or staining.

Include the boot plus a close-up of any stain, heavy dirt, pet hair or area needing extra attention.
Why are photos required?
A lightly used hatchback and a heavily worked family SUV can take very different amounts of time. Photos prevent surprise charges and make sure the right appointment length is reserved.

I’m a young entrepreneur who has recently started Kernow Detail Co. with the aim of building a reliable, professional mobile detailing service across North Cornwall. I’m putting a lot of effort into growing the business properly from the beginning, with honest pricing, clear communication and results I can be proud to put my name to.
Being mobile means I can bring the service directly to customers’ homes and workplaces, saving them the journey and the need to wait around elsewhere. I’m focused on doing the small things properly: turning up when agreed, treating every vehicle with care and never adding unexpected work without discussing it first.
Whether it is a family car, a surf vehicle, a work van or part of a small fleet, the aim is to provide a friendly local service that customers trust and feel comfortable booking again.

For a normal mobile appointment, the customer must provide access to a working outdoor water tap and a safe mains electricity socket close enough to the vehicle for the equipment to be used. Please mention any access problem before accepting the quote.

Results and limitations
Some marks and damage cannot be completely corrected by valeting.
Every reasonable effort is made to improve the vehicle safely, but complete removal of every stain, odour, mark or contaminant cannot be guaranteed. Results depend on the material, how long the problem has been present, previous cleaning attempts and any permanent damage already caused.
- Permanent dye transfer, bleaching, burns, tears, cracking and worn trim may remain.
- Deep stains, embedded pet hair, sand and long-standing odours may only be reduced rather than fully removed.
- Scratches, stone chips, corrosion, oxidation and damaged paint are not repaired by a standard valet.
- Mould, bodily fluids, hazardous waste or unsafe contamination may require specialist treatment or be declined.
- Pre-existing loose trim, damaged electrics, weak stitching or fragile surfaces should be disclosed before work begins.
If unexpected damage, contamination or extra work is discovered, the job may be paused and any change in price or scope will be discussed before continuing.
